Late At Night

Now don't you cry, I'll tell you why I come'n home real soon Just look up at the sky, the stars will get us by I may be half a world away, but never left your side It's with you I'll abide And you will be my bride Remember how I pledged my love to thee You stoled my heart and set it free Don't think that this foreign war Can keep me from my quest Returning to our nest and giving you my best Just close your eyes and feel the breeze It's my hands touching you And when my time is through There'll only be us two But just for now, pretend I'm holding you This late at night, it's what I always do
