Lasting Compliments
The variety of the lasting compliments
you wrote to me last night
became my starving salvation
for a lover’s flame to ignite
There’s freedom inside our castle caves
with resources beyond all reasoning.
My darling Nicholas, you are my beloved attached
by tenderness. I relish in your excellence as
you fancy my romantic flare.
I believe in your devotion, you break my
walls and consume me. Grab me and fly to our
chateau found in the sky. For the sky is our masterpiece
our soul saving wonder.
Remind me of all the reasons you carried me to your fortress
and loved me just right, like we did last night.
Devour my sanity and enrich my mortality
and crave me inside your warmth and release my passion.
I cherish you, my sweet, like no one else.
I savor every minute with you, my sweet, like no one else.
You’re captivating ways has lifted all my days
and we are nothing without each other.
The variety of the lasting compliments
have exceeded all my expectations
from our first glance we shared
started a marriage of dedication
