If I had the chance to do things
different I would,
As I look back now I wouldn't
have given up on us.

Although you made me mad and
so very sad,
Our little fight was nothing compared
to this hurt that I feel…..

If I could go back and tell you what’s 
on mind,
I’d tell you that our love story was one
of a kind.

And I’d hold you close my dear,
instead of losing you last year.

I never thought I would lose you so
soon,
If I could go back in time I would never
let you go.
Looking back our argument was petty 
and childish.

what’s real,

I love you so very much. And I 
long and crave for your touch.
Why did you have to leave so 
suddenly?

This was supposed to be our best
year,
Right before our fight that dreadful 
night ,
Our plans were crystal clear.

Now everything is just a blur….

Because I lost you last year.

This could be a great song. I'm thinking Sheryl Crow, but as I focused Cher kept disturbing me with, "IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME" Its simplicity is a purety when song lent, a feel each listener could and would grab as their own. I am in like and infatuation with this write, Alexis. Do you have musical ability .. write music, sing? I am an audience appreciator, big time, and not just because I'm tone deaf! Poetry hugs ... Hi CayCay, I thank you very much for such a kind response. I sing a little but I don't know that much about music. So I just write the lyrics however I am still learning.
