Last Teardrop Fell
Three evergreen years,
and a rainbow lifetime ago,
was when the last teardrop fell
It fell upon the autumn leaves
in the winter vale
Two hibernating hearts,
slumbering through the hurt,
awake hungering for love
A spring taste of sweet honey
to share with another
One sky mountain to climb,
above the cresting river below,
to reach the summer snow crystal ground
Where those melting tears of joy
are waterfall flowing down
Three Lebanon years,
and a red cedar lifetime ago,
was when the last lonely teardrop fell
Now the night stardust covers us,
so Mt. Carmel lovingly well
