Last Second

Can we come together,
before it’s gone too far.
Because we’re sliding on,
ice that is way too thin.

If we don’t make a change,
we’ll have to watch it go.
Then it will be too late,
to get it back again.

Look around you people,
a new war’s beginning.
The clock says we’re minutes,
from our destruction day.

To have any chance we,
all must work together.
Before those last precious,
few seconds tick away.

My brothers and sisters,
you fathers and mothers.
There’s only one way to,
be spared the final wrath.

Hear me friends and neighbors,
enemies, and lovers.
Together we must walk,
upon the righteous path.

Excellent, Jerry. You seem to have figured out their evil world of divide and conquer. Keep spreading the antidote!

Your poem serves as a powerful and urgent call for unity and collective action in the face of a looming crisis. The direct language and evocative imagery effectively convey the gravity of the situation and the need for immediate and coordinated efforts to prevent irreversible consequences...
