Last Promise

I left you with one
promise hanging on my tongue.
So tell me my love,

do the words still haunt
you? I can hear your heart call
my name across hell.

Breakups are always hard, Madison, especially when we thought we had a future with someone. There is a heart on the other side of hell calling my name too. Eloquently written! Love, Carolyn
