Feel the sad strains that echo here, A hurting pain that stabs so clear. See the harsh grief that loiters now, A lifetime brief that's gone somehow. Feel the sad rhymes in broken lines, Loss in sure time wrecks all things fine. See the sad hues in weeping rain, Sorrow now cues wet teary stains. Feel deep dark drape of gloomy days, Sense blurry shapes in frozen stay. Hear the last post of bugle strains, No more to coast with sun and rain. Feel a deep gloom that overcomes, Let sadness groom a healing psalm. Leon Enriquez 06 April 2015 Singapore

Dear Jan: Yes, it's sadly about the death of modern Singapore's founding father Lee Kuan Yew who died last Monday, March 23rd. He was a true patriot and we grieve over his passing though he was 91. All the best then, Leon.
