Last Page of This Notebook
I'm on the last page of this notebook
Trying to come up with a great hook
Waiting for my muse to kick in
Organizing all my thoughts within
Hoping something will light the fire
To write something that will inspire
Looking for the right words to pen
Trying to figure out where to begin
Too many notions going through my head
Should I write this or that instead
One of these ideas I need to pick
But none of them really seem to click
Maybe if I write just one line
I will come up with the right rhyme
But I guess if I don't it will be okay
In my new one I'll have something to say
