Last Night I Dreamt

Last night I dreamt
I stood in the pounding rain
So no one could see my pain
My pillow became wet with tears at night
my smile was back with mornings light
My feelings hidden deep within
Only I know where my thoughts have been
The worry kept going round in my head
Each night when I went to bed
They would swim in the ocean deep
While I drown within my sleep
Round and round like a merry-go-round
I could not get my feet on the ground
It could not go on at this pace
It had my thoughts all over the place
I had to take control
Or over the edge I would go

Phyllis, all you have to do is put somewhere in this poem the phrase "last night I dreamt" and title it that way and date the poem and put "serious" on the bottom and you would have an entry for Francine's contest. I think it would work. Well done.

I know I gave you a 7 on this one and you only got a 4. I think something is wrong.
