Last Night
The snow started early in the morning.
Last night's darkness guaranteed a miserable day.
By night the land was covered with winter's décor adorning.
Huddled we by the fire as winter raged with scorning.
Last night's freezing air told us all we needed to say.
The snow started early in the morning.
The flowers of forest and field wailed in mourning.
Last night's frozen ground allowed the demons out to play.
By night the land was covered with winter's décor adorning.
"Seek ye warmth, and keep ye well" the icy wind was warning.
Last night's drop in temperature unleashed evil in the worst way.
The snow started early in the morning.
From dawn till dusk the storm revealed a new creation roaring.
Last night is responsible for the results of today.
By night the land was covered with winter's décor adorning.
In death there is life aborning.
Last night was yesterday.
The snow started early in the morning.
By night the land was covered with winter's décor adorning.
