Last Leaf

I’ll be here right beside you in the darkness when you call. I’ll be the one who makes sure that the last leaf doesn’t fall. I’ll be here watching over you though all others are gone. I’ll be here though you’ve lost the strength and will to carry on. I know that it’s your darkest hour. I know it’s hard to see. I know because one time I faced a darkest hour for me. So, hold on tight to what you see - that last leaf on the vine, and I’ll go paint that masterpiece… and then it is my time. (Ref: Last Leaf by Oliver Henry)
