Last Kiss

As they gently start to pull apart
I felt her slipping from me,
And a scent I've never felt before
has awakened something cunning...
within the kiss I always waited for
was a promise from my maker
Though I never understood before
I know its time to take her...
As Im looking in her lifeless eyes
it slowly stops my breathing
shes the reason now that I despise
The life that shes is leaving...
As I take unto her only breath
so the memories pass time
the sunlight warms what heavens left
for me to kiss just one last time
