Last Kiss

My one single death wish
Is to have just one last kiss
You holding me in your arms
Keeps me away from all harm
It is when you are not there
That I feel all this fear
Building up inside
But it comes as no surprise
And I know it all the same
This is real, not a game
I am always in danger
When by my unwelcomed stranger
He comes and knocks on my door
Prepared to settle a score
Between you and i
All he wants to do is make me cry
But then I run away and turn to you
To escape from all things cruel
All you do is hold me in your arms
And I am away from all harm
But I don’t see you all the time
And soon to be said no more
I am now dying
But still not crying
Because my one single death wish
Is to have just one last kiss
