Last Hope On Her

How beautiful is love
As painful as it’s sweet
How young and pure it was
‘Till time weakened its heat.

A thousand days and nights
Replies were dream’s delight
A single, losted heart
Still waiting to be imparted.

If only she would have in mind
That every night, I slept and endured
If only she could really find
Her true love - me - I assure.

Trust, hope, desires
Had raised my love up higher
Tears, pain, suspicions
Seduced and stopped my love growing.

I lust, or love - left unclear
But faith had fought away my fears
I do believe, that one day
She will love me, the same way.
