Last Goodbye
I thought you would be different, that you would at least ask why?
You didn't give me a chance to explain or even let me try
I am always the stepping stone for others to find their way
I wanted to be the one and hoped you'd aske me to stay.
You didn't ask you just blocked me straight away
Never wanting to hear what I thought or needed to say
Therefore I let you go as I need a strong man by myside
One who will help me help them and in our love we will abide.
You are everything I am looking for, but I needed you to be there
Though you were around you never once said you are
I was in turmoil and had a lot of things on my plate, some which you already know
But since you would not see my side it's best that you go.
For if you cared you would have fought to kept me by your side
You would have asked and questioned me even though I hurt your pride
I am sorry, I feel in love with you but couldn't bring myself to say
As I thought you would, like everyone else up and run away.
By protecting myself I made a huge mistake for which I ask forgiveness
If I could turn back time I would take it back and shower your with kisses
But I fear you will not forgive me my mistakes even though I forgave you
So this is my love lost letter to you...
