Last Good Bye

Last Goodbye

Today You Said Goodbye to Me
And the Tears Rolled down My Cheek.
I Couldn't Seem to Stop Them,
And My Insides Were Sick and Weak.

Did You Know I Love You?
And Did You Know How Much?
I Never Imagined I'd Lose You,
Or That it Would Be this Tough.

I Lay My Head on Your Pillow
And I Almost Feel You There.
The Pain Is Almost Physical
And More than I Can Bear.

I Have to Go on with My Life,
But There's Too Much of You Here
And Each Thing I See Is a Reminder,
Bringing a New Rush of Tears.

I Don't Know How to Live,
Now That You Are Gone,
But Rest in Peace My Darling
And I Will Try to Be Strong.
