Language of Love
How can I express my feelings toward you?
For the longest time
I couldn't admit
how I felt.
Neither to myself,
nor to you.
I found myself
thinking of you
during all phases
of my day.
You occupied my thoughts constantly
and ran rampant through my dreams.
Every waking moment my mind
was occupied with you.
My fantasies of you
were played out nightly.
I collected my courage
and told you how I felt.
To my joy,
you had the same feelings.
You made my dreams a reality.
Now no matter how I try,
I cannot express the magnitude of love
I have for you.
If I could speak
all the tongues of the world,
I still could not tell you
how much I cherish you.
So I communicate
the only way I know how
with the language of love.
Your are the one thing
that gives my life meaning.
Without you, I have no direction,
no desires, no will.
You make my world
a beautiful place.
One in which
I revel in.
I guess there is
no other way
to say what I feel than,
I love you,
body, mind, and soul.
