Landscape of Wonders

I want to run forever and ever
Over those gentle sloping hills
The earth must have been so clever
To give the landscape such thrills

I wonder how long it would take me to stop
Or if I ever even would
How I'd love to reach the top
But never come down if I could

The trees full of secrets stand tall
And through a maze of corn
I cannot wait to see it all
And let my eyes be reborn

Too many shades of green to count
Gray clouds on a blue sky above
Cows grazing- a small amount
Just too much to think of

And lo! Way way up on high
A small old house to see
Over those hills by and by
What wonders it may hold for me

Though I love the beautiful sight
And the treasures it holds dear
Memories held to my heart tight
Though the time to go draws near

Hey Bella.. Good morning. I'm in the mountains with my dog (Bo) sipping on your wonderful write and a hot cup of Joe. Nature is waking up and you're bringing a delight to my senses!
