Landscape
The miles quickly pass
Landscapes of experience
Warm lights flickering
From the crowded town
Life appears to be complete
But the doors are shut
No one knows for sure
What the people are doing
It is all so still
The cars whizzing past
Turned heads grab a quick look-see
Is life better there?
The fleeting moment
Conjures false realities
Thoughts are scattering
The steady rain falls
The lights on the road are blurred
I must watch my step
The miles ahead call
Landscapes of experience
Warm lights flickering
