Lamppost Black

Don’t you see the lamppost black? Down beside the railroad track. It’s there, I know, I have seen it! Many times, I’ve seen it lit. It does come out in the night. It is not there in the light. Go down by, and see it there. Oh, go on! This is not fair! You laugh and say I am wrong. Go on back where you belong. Leave me be, with my lamppost. But say! Let’s have, one more toast! A toast to you Lamppost Black. Let’s drink it all then go back!
