Yes, it does uplift; it's a wonderful plant; I used to have a border of it around a flower bed. It is velvety.

I have it all over the yard. My yard is clay, and lambs ear loves to grow in clay.

In our part of the world a lambs ear is a plant, and it has the softest sweetest feel to it, like velvet.
