Lambs Become Lions

When you’re knocked down rise straight to your feet
your reaction your pride and the floor is no seat
if you can move you move it’s the same in repeat
there’s no pain no thought just instinct, compete

If you can coordinate then you must do
embarrassment found when you don’t move
when blood spills adrenaline rush you
honour in defeat when lessons improve

Rise and rise again
turn boys to men
Until lambs become lions
then do it again
