Lake House (Part 1)

This is a house
Not your average home
A retreat for the mind
The body to roam

You sit out on the deck
Lake is as blue as the sky
Only the noise of animals
Quietly passing you by

No phone ringing
Traffic is obsolete
Mountain beauty behind you
My perfect weekend retreat

Coffee outside in the sunrise
BBQ as it sets
Nothing but peace and quiet
I'm a stunning silouette

There's time to actually think
Walking along the beach
No outside pressures
Inner love is within your reach

Lay outside in the middle of the night
Stars sparkling to no end
Fall asleep in peace
Too much regret, I know it will end

A weekend for me
Hike, swim, sleep, dream
Movies, poetry, and walking nude
There's nothing better, and no one to intrude
