Lake As Trysting Place

Calmness, and its slow drift
Of peaceful hours.
Lakelet borne, boated herein.
Far which sky lours.

Day, oar-dropped, but guided of
Hand, passional
Willow-cooled, waves us onward.
Fate's consentual.
