Lady Love
I see,
What I wish to be.
Yet sometimes so far out of reach
Fading is what I wanted to teach
Beautiful ladies I have known
Love, I have blown
What is it have I been shown
To reach for my star
Has carried me so far
Times I have gotten stuck in my road of life
Lost my only wife
Hard to love someone when your heart
belongs to someone long dead
That messes with your head
Would it be fare
Should I even care
To love another would that make my heart untrue
What is one to do
Lost out young
That bell done rung
Things I Thought
The reasons I fought
Changed in the blink of an eye
The light fell from the sky
Didn't even get to say good bye
Walking on took strength
But still, at length
Tis you I miss.
The final kiss
Still lingers on my lips
Away time slips
I walk into tomorrow
Still feeling that sorrow
I hope you know
This pain may show
My love was true
Cause I still love you. Could never be another
Cause your memory would smother
And to her that would not be fair
For another I would always care
My love would never be true
Cause I'll always love you.
Sit here so alone
Lost in what once was shown
Don't care why
Just know, I still cry
I'm still loyal to our love
I hope to see you when I rise above
I stay strong
And I've waited so long
The only thing worse
Than this living curse
Is if I die
And travel past the sky
Would surly cry
If there really was no heaven above
And I never again ,get to see the lady I love
Now im old
My soul I would of sold
For love once tasted
My life was wasted
One life one love
Till I rise above
Till I die
For you I will cry
