Lady Justice

This is like, a contemporary, rhyming-take on a sonnet. Nothing serious. Just havin fun. Enjoy, ladies and gentlemen! “Lady Justice” Shadow on pavement's not sparkling white The chill, dark space consumes the light The Lady in robes takes truth to weigh: the blind, the sad, the sick, the great Palms decay, they sweat, unsure, shaping shells to pock the world With chaos, war, compassion dies as twisted lips are spilling lies Power turns inverted, deaf The rebel's voice, defeated, left Peace decreed for mass-deception as the Powers That Be breed misconceptions for justice is nothing but interpretation
