Lady Blow Torch

Long-lost, godless, fire-breathing dragon Land.
Tiananmen tanks rolling over your fellow man.
Glean away your newborn daughter's sheen.
Scumble the villagers, drown out their dreams.
Build plastic war islands- earth-devouring dams.
The once red humble gem has become a piece of slag.

Keep them silent-slit their rice-filled throats.
Keep them blind and dumb as deep cave toads.
Strip from their callused hands-their right to vote.
You're not fooling them- not a single soul.
They're wise and know your heart is void of any gold.
They know about your dark intent to overthrow.
To put poisoned chains around earth's sweet liberty.
Into the lamb of hope, thrust your daggers deep.
Pop our naïve-fat cherry-sweetened souls.
Deal freedom a one-finger nuclear death blow.

All free men are known to believe and say,
that goodness will always overcome evil ways.
That devil's Reich that was to last a thousand years.
Was reduced to blistered memory in just a few short years.
Those black flags that once terrorized a pearled land.
Were driven deep down into the bowels of burning sand.

It may take a millennium and the granddad of all wars.
The lady with the tablet and that big old blow torch.
Will awaken and swim an ocean from Liberty Island.
To smoke that sassy red panda and feed it to the lions.
