Lack of Love
I know what makes you Cruel
… the same thing, makes me Cold
an Utter Lack of Love
if the Truth, be Told …
… a Harsh, Razor-Reality
A Frozen Heart – Is So Icy
… like a Solid-Block Picture-Frame
nothing Shows Thru… not even Shame
I know what makes some Cruel
… the same thing, leaves me Cold
like some Emotional, Ice-Pick
that Chips away and Scolds…
I hear your Fear, tho’ not Spoken
it Glazes over Frostbit and Broken
a Rage and Ache, which Never Stops
like and Icicle-Spear, that Never Drops
… take Alcohol… Its hard to Freeze
But even in Your Vapor Breeze
Your Lungs Compress a Frigid-Squeeze
You, start to Shiver, Swear and Sneeze
and I Watch Your Nippy-Nose Bleed
and Your Callous, Chilling-Deeds
for No Matter, How Low You Go…
You Can’t Survive… in Sub-Zero…
I know what makes You Cruel
Same thing, makes me Cold
an Utter Lack of Love…
Deep within Your Soul
For there’s no Fire, in a Crystal Jewel
until a Sparkle … Rules
* * * Avalanche ! … Meet My Echo !
Your Storm-Blizzard… is Only Snow
And Icebergs Which Block… Must Thaw
You Must Melt… It Is Love’s Law! …
For Every Sole-Snowflake’s Goal
is to Join Another and Blanket Whole…

… the same thing, leaves me Cold …
