Notes About The Poem

4/9/2026 for Seven by Seven Poetry Contest sponsored by Nette Onclaud

Labyrinth

hazy memory recalls
muffled, echoing footfalls,
and, even a rat can learn,
just as I, again, discern,
plodding down cold empty halls,
stuck inside life's unseen walls,
"oh no, another wrong turn".
