La Manique a Blue Faerie

She danced upon a thimble mushroom near A delicate faerie, and oh, so dear. Her mood was pink, her gauzy clothes were blue. Compassion was her constant, good and true. Her gossamer wings were endearing To humans she was never nearing Her magical name was La’Manique, She was full of darling faerie mystique I watched her dance quite secretly Knowing she would hide from me If she sensed I was watching near She did not spy me, a curious deer. Deer and faeries have a natural connect. I do not know why, do not introspect. I held my breath as out came a tiny cough. Startled, she gasped one time and quickly flew off. Now you did it! The low but fluffy bunny said. She’s gone forever, her curly hair of red. But I knew she would be back another day. There is a psychic link between deer and fey. She rose up high, La’Manique, so pretty I knew she would never go to a city. She was a part of the ocean and the sky. The bluest of the blue, I do not lie. She came at twilight once again. She brought her sister, an identical twin. They were amazing to see, these faerie girls. With shiny russet and golden curls. Holding my breath I watched from a tree. Delicate and lively, now there are three. Triplet faeries, all in blue! Would I ever lie to you? I watched them dance and prance and sing. They were the happiest creatures to ever ring. I smile today when I think of them. The faerie blues, my almost best friends!
