Known Angels and Strange Devils
When the burdens are hard to bear
and your fountains flow with fear...
Through the tirades and tough tear,
Your victory is near my dear.
When known angels fuel a fiery fight
and strange devils lure your light,
Through the dark and dreary night...
Your future is blessed and bright.
When precious promises are broken
and trust becomes a missing token...
With many truths left unspoken;
Your heart will bloom though broken.
When you are forsaken by a friend
and it seems life has come to an end...
When through fire your desires wend,
Your soul will to hope's hill ascend.
Abhor the abode of known angels,
strange devils can ring sweet bells...
Do not be cocooned in familiar cells;
Desire new duets and not old duels.
