Knowing You Loved Me Then...
Can we go back to the time you first said " I love you"
Back to a time I knew I was loved by you
Back to the times we laughed about nothing
Back to the place where we both wanted the same thing
Where nothing matter but us forever
Life seemed so great just to be with you
Yet now you are gone and I am without you
I feel empty and alone always
Can't I be in love with someone who stays?
It feels like eternity
Since you've been with me
The attention I once was showered with is now gone
Tears overwhelming my sight each coming dawn
Sleepless nights and tear-stained pillows
Breathing in your cologne from your pillows
Remembering the softness of your lips and skin
Knowing you loved me then.....
