Knowing To Love
It's a delicate, often difficult balance,
With what is learned day-to-day.
As if an informational tug-of-war,
Targets perception, through work or play.
Whether wisdom prevails or ignorance,
Sometimes depending on just how fast.
Some will quickly look to the future,
While others may be slowed by the past.
This knowledge comes with a price tag,
That can exchange one's view and belief.
Where prior ideas become aged & tarnished . . .
Even love & hate may expose new grief.
The ongoing pursuit is critical, as
Our nature demands answers to use.
So that growth maintains some improvement,
Wisely adoring, what we can't afford to lose.
