Sometimes when we're growing up parents make mistakes that their kids remember always and tend to hold a grudge. Parents make mistakes because they are not perfect. They are human and do the best they can with what little knowledge they have. Some people are just not smart. Then too some kids are not easy to raise.I had one daughter that the best way to get her to do something was to tell her she was not allowed. Then she would do it just to show you she could. Then she couldn't understand why she was punished for what she did.
BOTTOM LINE:
Everybody messes up from time to time. Lets try to cut each other a little slack.
Know that I love you when you remember me,
Though at times I must admit we did not agree;
But you were always in my heart, your welfare my concern,
And though I tried with all my might I thought you'd never learn,
That I have always loved you and I always will.
Though sometimes our paths will part my love will hold you still,
Cradled deep within my heart where you will always be,
A bond that can't be severed, here in my memory.
Wherever life may take you, wherever you may go,
Whatever life may bring you there's one thing you must know.
I have always loved you, remember that I cared.
Remember though I made mistakes, I loved and found you fair.
Life is a mixture of experience, some good, some not so much.
It's what we choose to learn from it that gives that added touch.
The added touch of mystery, the added touch of fun,
The thing that makes life worth it when all is said and done.
Life is like a harvest time, what we sow we reap.
We let the straw fall to the ground and the grain we keep.
