Know Me, No Me

You don’t know me
	You don’t know me
You believe you do
	You don’t know me
You say that’s not true
	You don’t know me

I hardly know myself
	You don’t know me
I barely hold myself together
	You don’t know me
I don’t know whether
	You don’t know me

I walk the night
	Can you even see me
I scream through the fright
	Do you even hear me

Or I don’t understand why
	You don’t know me
Or if I can walk another day
	You don’t know me
Or should I go or stay
	You don’t know me

If I go will you understand
	You don’t know me
If I stay can you love me
	You don’t know me
If I set myself free
	You don’t know me

Walk past the mirrors
	A stranger walks with me
Am I truly there
	What is it I see

Best for me, best for you
	You don’t know me
Best for us, best for all
	You don’t know me
Best to take the fall
	You don’t know me

No me.
