Knock You Down a Peg

8/10/17

Regardless of if you already have it made
Since you're the one to blame
For innocent lives being slained

I'm going to sweep you off your feet, no matter if you get a broken leg
Knock you down a peg

With you I would never trade
Or give you aid
I'd watch you struggle, as you beg to be saved
Before you drown down below ocean waves

Just not one in the same
Cut you with a blade
Burn you with a flame
Throw a live grenade
At you without delay

Don't be afraid
Because your life is starting to fade

By the way
You are not brave
It's a shame
You couldn't appreciate all that was gave
To get to where we are now on this very day
No need to explain
Or for me to behave
Time to take out my rage
Until you are in the grave
Knowing I may or may not come out unscathed
