Kitty

13 November 07 8:15 am

Tit tat little cat
chasing and tumbling across the floor.
Jumping bumping catching ball
then losing it under the door in the hall.

Crouching reaching stretching as far as you can
but it’s still out of reach of your tiny little hand.
Jump up twirl round stretch and lay down
curl and purr as I stroke your soft fur.

Thank you God for this little kitty
so soft and funny and so pretty.
When in my lap it purrs and plays
I smile and get away from the troubles of the day.

His cute little face adoring my embrace
slows me down from life’s lightning pace.

There is so much in life to love
that God sends in small packages wrapped in a hug.
