Kisses
Kisses are near misses
unless you catch the bug.
Kisses are electric
like static on the rug.
Kisses are so scratchy
unless you have just shaved.
Kissing the same sex on the forehead
means you like being brave.
Kisses made for romance
can be planted on the neck.
Kisses to recent strangers
must be just a little peck.
Kisses are conclusions
if the ending is near,
so I kiss off this poetry
because it ends right here!
