"kiss the Sun!"

Here I am, standing in the sun....

Ran into a wall again, and now

I am not so sure, what the future holds?

But, let me take a look, inside that is ~

Perspectives and points of view

Many years ago, I barely stayed alive

At the end of the rope, once upon a time....

Looking back now, at all of the seasons that have gone by

Faces, places, moments in time ~

Nothing but gratitude, how could I ever cry

Standing, here, in the sun....

Its a glorious day, a gift from above!

I do not know, I do not care

What I have lost? Or being alone?

Peering, beyond the horizon, of what shall come ~

A smile now growing, upon my face

A fortunate soul, no matter what, tomorrow may bring!?

Amid all of these years of borrowed time

Beautiful hearts and, wonderful eyes ~

Rising, again, within this sun....

What walls? What thorns? The crowds passing by

"Life," perspectives, points of view?

Years, tears, love, and, "You" ~

One more day, one more chance, above it all....

Kiss the Sun!

Note: Smile ~ Just listening to the song "Its A Beautiful Day"
by "U2" & thought, I would repost this poe from a moment
ago amid time...."Don't Let It Get Away, 'Love Always,'" John!:) ~

O, you rock John! ! I haven't read this before so I'm glad your reposted it. It's late but had to stop by before I go to dreamland! With the Sun in your life nothing else overshadows- Nothing can compare.. His constant watch unending! Reading this I know there've been some rough time in the past but that's the past and I am so glad that you're here today. A definite favorite!!! Much love, Audrey
