The Brave Little Toaster. I was looking for a vacuum online and couldn't figure out why I recognized the brand Kirby. Then I clicked on a pic and instantly remembered the movie

The vac cleaner's union had an annual meet Electrolux and Oreck, and a Bissell and such And invited one old Kirby for a rare vacuum treat: To talk, (tho' they really didn't like him much) ... That rusty old Kirby had a lesson to teach To all the new vacuum cleaners on the line But he wasn't sure he had the air to reach The shiny-nice Dysons, that looked so fine ... He sputtered and choked and spun his tires And his worn HEPA filter had started to sag ... They mocked his pace and his twisted wires And laughed at his grip and his wrinkled bag ... Yet he stood up tall like a good Kirby should And cleaning his way up that ramp to speak Worried his message might not be very good For his worn, limp hose had a sad, sorry leak ... Still ... The old vacuum cleaner then addressed his own Battered and beaten, and down on his luck “I'm headed to that rug in the great unknown ... So please carry on - 'cuz you really do suck!"

what a hilarious ending, greg. It's good to see your comedic side!! I have an old Kirby and I was so sick of it. Finally we got a new one!!Top of the line Dyson! (one that really sucks, supposedly!) Hey, thanks for the awesome win. It made my day!

Ah, Gregory, this is a special one! I loved it. So often true when us old dudes are asked to speak...the young have better suction...or so they think! What in the hell am I talking about???? Good stuff.

My friend, I so enjoyed this one. Closing verse made the point--and could well be applied to we of flesh and blood as well. We mortals that are often too full of our own vanities and desires. Truth ,we al are headed into the great unknown sooner or later... I myself am faithfully praying for the much, much later episode .. God bless.
