Kings of the Yard, the Khan Brothers

Little Genghis barks and rants
Mighty Kublai trots and pants
Everyone who passes by
Sees the doggies jumping high
In rhythm they leap and run
The little boys are having fun
Kublai friendly wants to play
Angry Genghis chases strangers away
Kublai mad at Genghis takes a bite
Genghis screams in painful fright
Like tiny grizzles without fear
They snarl and growl teeth a glare
Snapping leaping bodies collide
They move quicker than the eye
Suddenly Genghis will freeze and stop
Than almost as if he hops
Dances around like a clown
Licking Kublai to calm him down
Tails wagging they sniff and quit
Genghis hugs Kublai around the neck
The boys are happy and begin to play
The strangers are forgotten as they fade
That night they sleep side by side
Kings of the yard my little guys.

Thank you they are rescue dogs who invaded my life. They kind of adopted me. Appreciate your comment.
