Kingdom of Heaven

There was a surveyor who saw an old box on a piece of land, Who investigated and found it was a treasure trove in the sand. He hid the chest in the earth beside the most distinct of trees And disguised the spot of disturbance with its scattered leaves. He happily left but soon returned with an offer in his hand To claim the treasure as his own with the purchase of the land. There was a merchant, who only dealt in the finest of pearls, Who found the most precious one at the Cultured Girls After sorting through so many; he gave that one a rave. The price was grand that was discussed as he went his way, But he came again with all the cost and gave them all twirls, For he acquired the greatest pearl among all other pearls. There was a lover in search of love and ready to give love, Who saw it just when his light got dim, the moon was up above. The windows of heaven had opened up to supply his very need. He felt like Adam the day that God presented to him Eve; And so he sold all that he had and found the beginning of His life, alas! He was rich and full of peace with her love.
