Kindred Spirits
How strange that fate
Did come to mend
Two tattered souls in twain
And meet the ends
Of each of them
With friendship found again;
That hearts made cold
By worldly use
Should find a hearth to share,
And from the bones
That once were froze,
Rekindle flames of care.
