Kindness
Where has kindness gone in this digital age
When there is online ranting on nearly every page
Faceless cowardly scalding of whoever we please
Hurtful words that are pointed are not just a tease
Adults relish it, oh yes they do
Picking holes in an unfortunate few
Our media ranting is contagious and bad
It escapes from our keypads and makes us all mad,
Cursing and swearing at the NHS Staff
Hatred of Teachers and the Admin staff
Put yourself in their shoes for a moment in time.
Turning up and working from 9 until 5
Do you make every action, how you want it to be?
Do you say every word, like it was scripted for me?
No, we do our best and sometimes its lacking
Now a what's app target wanting you sacking
It snowballs and breeds like an evil disease.
People bad mouthing you, to varying degrees
Maybe you're perfect, from dawn until dusk
I'm not and I'm fragile without that tough husk
Do unto others as you would wish done to you
You could be next, just one bad choice or miscue
If justice is needed I'm not saying don't stand up
Just do it with dignity, manners and with luck.
When you are the target other will redress
