Kind Hearted
I walked past you on the street
I looked down
You looked so beat
Sitting on the cold concrete
Wrapped in a blanket
With your dog at your side
He looks at you with
Nothing but pride
You look hungry, you look tired
Content where you are
You made me inspired
An empty tin, with no money
I hear grumbling
It’s from your tummy
What can I do to make you smile?
Even if it’s only
For a little while
Please feed my dog
As I can wait
His important to me
He is my mate
I will back in a minute
Please don’t leave
All I ask is for you to believe
Here I come with food for both
It’s not much
But it will keep you afloat
I will check on you in time to come
I hope you get, that lucky break
From someone.
