Kids There is children on our street Living without heat Cold and lonely child Maybe a little wild But still one of our own What has he been shown He knows he's cold He doesn't matter he's told What's this saying to our youth This is the truth We walk bye We don't see them cry Looking for a safe place A warm smiling face A word so kind Is hard for them to find Give onto them your heart Help them find where to start To build a new way Help them find a place to stay Don't walk away They don't want much Just a loving touch A kind word Should be heard A warm hand Tell them you understand Guide them to the light Join in my fight We are the ones We must protect our sons It's only right Give them some light Be the big brother Maybe the mother Reach out to the ones in need This I plead
