Kiddies Are Our Future

Ever notice when kiddies play They pretend they're in a war They learn from us what seems to be Quite natural to our core The future of our planet Earth Is in the hands of every child Let's try our best to guide them through The perils with a smile A positive take on life it seems Helps reach that distant goal We don't need tools of war no more Just peace in every soul Treasure our kids and nurture them To change the times ahead And make this place much better than The years of fear and dread It can surely be done if all of us Just listen to our hearts Let's forge a path with our kiddies' help And make a brand new start!

Yes, Jack...let's! I love this poem, especially because it essentially says we old-timers had our say (and look where it got us) and now it's up to the next generation...or the next...or the next. Good writing, Jack!

Based on things up to now our next generation will probably be no different! Will there be a chance in the future... ??? Thanks Milton!
