Kicked Off On My Bucket List

KICKED OFF ON MY BUCKET LIST

      Almost nothing to do in my last phase
      spending useless idle indolent days.
      Completed so-called family duty,
      Running only through little activity.
      Parents showering blessings from heavenly abode.
       Grown up children well- settled abroad.
                              
       We siblings meet off and on,
       on several occasions.
        Now main attraction lies in travel
       Where treasures of Nature do marvels.

      Three tours were scheduled in my bucket list.
      First to go to Norway, next Egypt to visit.
     Then to spend time with little princess Arianna
      my sweet granddaughter staying in Pennsylvania.

      Sphinx Pyramid and cruise on River Nile
      calling me: I am old but not senile.
      The year Two Thousand Twenty was fixed specific,
       But had to leave idea for Covid Pandemic.

     Aurora Borealis was my dormant dream in fervor.
     Had emotive urge to stay with Arianna in rapture.
     All abandoned, as free life went on restriction
     of Covid-crisis: Kicked off tours on compulsion.

Jan Allison December 8, 2020 at 12:24 PM covid has upset the plans of many, we were planning on seeing the northern lights but were advised to put it off and am glad we did, in time it will be safe for us to travel again, congrats on your win Anisha:-) hugs jan xx
