I thought I felt the warmth of your heart
gentle and charming 

You stand before me like a thought,
a dream remembered in a dream

I want you to think of me as we 
are sometimes miles apart 

Without you, my world is a 
dark place in time

I want you to remember secrets 
whispered in your ear, and smile 

You are the sunshine of my day
a star that is always bright

I have loved you more with 
each passing day

What I'd give to wake up 
beside you each sunrise 


I love you completely  with 
my heart, mind, and soul 
        
As you remember me, smile 
with peace in your heart 

You are my favorite  dream  
that has become my reality

Goodness, Debbie! What a tender and evocative poem of deep and abiding romance...who would not relish such words of affection and promise composed to them? As alluring and captivating as this gorgeous work is, M'Dear, it is not a blank verse poem. Blank verse is composed entirely in iambic pentameter, as a sonnet is, without the rhymes, of course. Regardless, I love it, and what man with a beating heart would not? Smiles and most grateful hugs! ~ Richard
