Notes About The Poem

When stationed in West Germany back in the 80's, I took a charter bus tour to see a few places in the Netherlands. We visited Den Hague, Scheveningen, a Delft porcelain/pottery outlet, and the massive tulip gardens at Keukenhof. Never imagined so many varieties of tulips existed.

Keukenhof Gardens

Traveled to Holland
Endless varieties of
Tulips everywhere.

Oh we used to travel to Holland about 5 times a year when I was young as my mum had a dutch penpal - what lovely people and such a beautiful place - the bulb fields are simply stunning - I had black tulips and scarlet tulips in my old house in England from Keukenhoff gardens. Hugs jan xxx
